Absolutely. Cross-trade shipments, for example from China to the US? No problem. We coordinate the entire process and remain your single point of contact—wherever in the world you ship.
How do I find out which HS codes apply to my goods?
- Use the Dutch or EU TARIC database
The TARIC is the EU’s official customs information database. You can search by product description.
You can search terms like “bicycle frame,” “cable,” “shoe,” etc.
It then shows the corresponding 8- or 10-digit code, import duties, and any additional conditions. - Request a Binding Tariff Information (BTI)
This is an official customs decision confirming the correct HS code for your product.

How do I know how much my shipment weighs and how that is calculated?
We can weigh and measure it for you. But if you do it yourself, use the formula for volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 6000) and compare it to the actual weight. Whichever is higher will be used as the billing weight.
Can DutchQargo track my shipment?
Yes, we actively keep you updated on your shipment’s status. Upon request, we can also set up automated updates or give you access to our tracking system.
What do I need to book an air freight shipment?
We need a clear description of the goods, including weight and dimensions. We also need the pickup and delivery address and preferably the invoice and packing list. Do you have questions? Contact us and we’ll guide you step by step.
